Self-hosting cost calculator

Turn your own prices and usage assumptions into a monthly budget you can inspect and export.

Enter your own prices and usage

Use 0–1,000,000 with up to four decimal places; enter 0 for unused costs. Quote units must match. No GB/GiB or currency conversion. Page memory only.

Your budget breakdown

Calculate after entering your assumptions. Changing any input clears the old result.

Not a provider quote. Unentered tax, labor, tiers and discounts are excluded. Annual cost uses the unrounded monthly sum × 12; displayed components may differ by rounding.

How to use the result

Use one currency and the units used by your provider. Monthly cost is server + GPU hourly rate × hours + storage rate × capacity + outbound rate × transfer + API budget + backup + other fixed charges. Inputs use four-decimal fixed-point arithmetic; products retain eight decimals before display rounding. Annual cost multiplies the unrounded monthly sum by twelve. We do not fetch prices or convert currencies.

A worked example

The demo enters server 100, GPU 2 × 10 hours, storage 0.1 × 50 units, transfer 0.2 × 30 units, API 30, backup 5 and other 4. Monthly cost is 170.00 and yearly cost is 2040.00 in the selected currency. The server is the largest line item. Those are teaching numbers, not a quoted hosting plan. Replace them with your own bills and check whether the server price already includes storage or transfer before adding it again.

What this cannot establish

This is a simple constant-usage budget, not an invoice forecast. Minimum commitments, free tiers, time-of-day GPU prices, failed requests, taxes, support and engineering time are absent unless you put them in. GB and GiB are labels, not converted quantities. Yearly rounding can differ from twelve displayed monthly totals. A cheap configuration is not proof that it meets your workload. Inputs disappear when the page is left; download the assumptions if needed.
