Decision Snapshot

Problem solved

ilysenko/codex-desktop-linux needs a stronger problem statement before this page should be treated as a full review.

Deployment reality

Setup instructions are not clear enough yet. Non-coders should ask Codex or Claude to read the README, list prerequisites, create an install checklist, and identify hosted alternatives before deploying.

Commercial use

The recorded license is MIT. This is a useful commercial-use signal, but teams should still verify license text, dependencies, model/API terms, and trademark constraints.

Capability ceiling

ilysenko/codex-desktop-linux still needs a clearer capability analysis. Use the metadata as a discovery signal, not as a production recommendation.
